We reduce the risk of work-related exploitation and human rights violations in the joint procurement supply chain

Our goal is to ensure that human rights are systematically taken into account in all joint procurements. Our joint procurement process complies with due diligence, in other words, we identify and prevent risks, monitor and require corrective actions and communicate results openly.

As a rule, we attach the Code of Conduct requirements or code of ethics to all joint procurement contracts and supplement them with more detailed requirements and control measures on a risk-based basis.

We actively monitor the implementation of sustainability requirements in joint procurements

Our goal is to ensure that the implementation of the sustainability requirements for joint procurements is monitored systematically and effectively. We systematically monitor compliance with the contract terms at the category level and procurement-specifically. We use audits and self-assessments in monitoring.

We target measures particularly to high-risk procurements by producing material to support monitoring and communications and by also developing digital solutions for monitoring.

In addition, we strengthen our impact through cooperation, networking and open communication on the implementation of sustainability.
